Access to the bay is via a community walkway, the entrance to which is directly across from the South Beach gate next to Whispering Pines.
The bay access boardwalk runs through the woods to the bay and is a nature trail with all kinds of flora and fauna to be found.
This is another shot of the walkway to the bay.
Just before you reach the bay shoreline, there is a community gazebo for watching the view and wildlife over the bay.
Leave your canoe or kayak at the shoreline during your stay so it's easily accessible for exploring the bay, fishing or scalloping.
