Start your day on one of the 2 screen porches, watching an amazing sunrise or take your coffee out to the swing on the dock or to the hot tub. What to do next? You can swim in your own screened and optionally heated pool surrounded by nature with full privacy. It’s a short walk or ride to the beach. Take a bike ride or stroll/run along the bike path, located at top of driveway. Go down to the dock for a boat ride, swing, or wading and looking at wildlife or scalloping at the bay shore.
Of course, the 5 person hot tub awaits you at any time of day or night. In the evening, you can relax in the hot tub, under a sky full of stars. The chiminea on the hot tub deck lets you enjoy the ambience of an outside fire from the hot tub. Take a night-time swim under the stars in the protected, screened enclosed pool. There is also a beautiful jacuzzi inside tub, should you just feel like retreating to your own personal space.
With so many different venues, there is always a place for you to escape to or a large area to join other members of your group.
From the decks, porches, and dock you can see eagles, owls and shore birds. The sunrise view from the deck is so spectacular, it was featured in Atlanta Southeast Airlines magazine article featuring the Forgotten Coast.
The home has 3376 sq ft heated and cooled space and 1850 sq ft of decks and screened porches excluding the pool deck. There is lots of privacy on the .8 acre property with the nearest neighboring home located 300 feet away. The large fenced dog run is accessible from the front of the house, from the ramp off the upper bayside deck or from the pool deck.
The upper level has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and main living area. The spacious living area has a gas fireplace, small dining/games area for 4 to 6, lots of seating, a 55 inch LCD HDTV and full audio/video capability. The queen sized sleeper sofa brings the home's accomodation to sleep up to 15. There is a walkout to the huge screened porch (and open sun deck and hot tub). The separate dining room has a convenient pass-through from the kitchen and sliding doors to the huge open western facing sundeck. The large entertainers kitchen has lots of cupboards and counter space plus a breakfast bar with 5 bar stools, wine cooler and large pantry. This wonderful floor plan has the large laundry room conveniently accessible from the master bath and kitchen. The second entrance to the luxurious master bath means that you can share that luxurious jacuzzi tub with other members with no need for them to go through the master bedroom.
The bay front, spacious master bedroom has a king sized bed, walkout, huge closet, and a large upscale bathroom with double vanities, double tiled shower with double shower heads, and Jacuzzi tub. The ottoman, which is great for your suitcases, also converts to a twin bed.
The other upper level king bedroom has a walkout to the screened porch and own door into the central bathroom. The 3rd upper bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds and accesses the central bath just outside its door. You can close the door, and separate these 2 bedrooms and bath from the rest of the house.
The upper level tiled screen porch is a great place to relax, enjoy a meal or beverage. Step out of the porch to the open sundeck and dropped-down hot tub deck and chiminea, with stairs down to the private shower and to the pool deck, dock and gazebo.
The ground level apartment has a separate entrance (if desired) and can be locked off from main house. It has its own living room with large TV and DVD, kitchen with full sized fridge and kitchen appliances, microwave, stove, dining table for 6, washer/dryer, a bathroom with shower, 2 private bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen bedroom) and walkouts from both bedrooms to ground level screen porch and pool. Note the lower level also has a queen sized sleeper sofa so you can leave the upper living room in tact and have the extras sleeping down here.
Other amenities include high speed wireless internet access, a roof mounted, cellular phone booste , unlimited long distance and lots of TV/DVD/VCR’s. There is a movie and book library plus games. Each bedroom and each of the 2 living areas has a flat screen TV and DVD player.
Our home is less than 5 minutes from St Joseph Peninsula State Park where you can launch your boat, bike, hike, fish or bird watch. The bike path is right up the driveway from the home. The home has two fish cleaning stations – one in the gazebo and one in the driveway. The dock has power and water. Beach access is less than 1/2 mile away.
There is plenty room for 4 to 6 vehicles in the under-house covered parking and additional parking for boats and RVs.
Go scalloping from the dock in crystal clear St Joseph Bay, renowned for its delicious bay scallops and crystal clear water for snorkeling.

The main level bathroom is located between bedrooms 2 and 3. This wing can be closed off from the main living area for noise reduction and privacy.
This bedroom is equipped with a 32 inch TV and DVD player.
The second king bedroom has its own door into the main level bathroom.
The third bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and a set of twin bunks.
There is a wall-mounted 32 inch TV and DVD player. Outside the room, bathroom to the left and bayfront king bedroom down the hall. Entire wing can be closed off from living area.
Perfect for early risers that don't want to disturb the whole house, the lower level of this home has a full kitchen and the stacked washer/dryer that complement this separate 2BR 1BA apartment suite.

The pool deck is arrayed with tables, chairs, lounges and tiki umbrella for your comfort and enjoyment.

The pool deck is very private and no neighboring houses can see in, but still gets a lovely view of the bay.

The screened pool deck is connected to the lower screened porch via this breezeway. This space is all totally screened. Note that there is a pool deck bar and a full-sized fridge just inside the screened porch.

The hot and cold, private, outdoor shower stall is conveniently located just outside the pool deck with easy access to hot tub on open sun deck above.
