Update on The Cape- Hosting Snowbirds

February 18th, 2019 Update 

We are excited that the recovery on The Cape is going much faster than expected! Roads are drivable, our favorite local shops and restaurants have re-opened their doors, and 16 of our homes have been restored and are ready for visitation. Maintaining this pace, we expect to have 30 homes available for vacationers by the Spring.

Over the past month, we have had the pleasure of hosting several snowbirds. These guests are helping the community more than they know by supporting the local shops and businesses. As the Gulf Country Tourist Development Council encourages, one of the best ways you can help the community is simply to re-visit it!
