A modern beach house overlooking the Gulf Coast, The Sand Dollar offers easy access to the ocean in the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere of The Forgotten Coast. The two-level home sits above a covered patio for sweeping beach views from multi-level decks. Ideal for couples or a small family, the home features two en-suite bedrooms, located on either floor for maximum privacy, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room to comfortably accommodate up to six guests.

The Grounds
Located on a quiet street just off the beach, The Sand Dollar sits on manicured grounds with lush lawns and towering palm trees. Driveway parking for two vehicles makes it easily explore the surrounding area, including nature preserves and state parks. On the ground level, you’ll find a private laundry area, outdoor shower, and covered patio with stairs to the main entry. Walk just across the street to access the white, sandy beaches of 30A in Money Bayou, and take advantage of the gas grill to prepare your catch of the day. The Home
The entrance to The Sand Dollar lies on the second level, where an open-concept living area greets you with double-height ceilings and an inviting, modern aesthetic. Sliding glass doors open the living room onto the Gulf-view deck, allowing light to flood the interior. A full-length sofa faces a wide-screen TV for movie nights after a day of playing outside.
Just off the living area, a four-seat dining table and two stools at the breakfast bar seat six for dinner. With stainless steel appliances, a Jenn-Air stove with grill and an open layout, the kitchen will inspire your inner chef.
The first of the home’s two bedroom suites lies down the hall, featuring a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with a step-in shower. This floor also has a shared half-bath.
Outside, adirondack chairs invite mornings over coffee, or relaxed evenings over a glass of wine with an ocean soundtrack. A spiral staircase leads to an upper deck, also furnished with adirondack chairs, for even more spectacular views.
The primary suite lies on the upper floor, offering total privacy. This brightly decorated room features a queen bed, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with combination shower/tub.
Surrounding Area
From your prime position along 30A, you’ll have a front-row seat to white-sandy beaches for lazy days beneath an umbrella, swimming in the waves, or wading along the shore. Take out a kayak, or try your sea legs on a stand-up paddleboard. The quiet, residential neighborhood is also ideal for a stroll or cruiser bike ride.
Within a 15-minute drive, you’ll find parks, nature preserves and wildlife areas with walking trails and family-friendly activities. On your way home, stop by one of the area’s seafood or BBQ restaurants.
