Best Spring Break!

"Our family had a great time during our stay at Good Vibrations! We had a total of 4 adults and 5 kids ages 10 - 17. We have stayed at other beach houses in the past and this was by far the cleanest and best-stocked house we have rented. The kitchen has everything you need. One of my sons has Celiac so we need to make all of our own meals even when on vacation, and I was pleasantly surprised at all of the cookware available. I had brought some of my own just in case, but ended up not needing to use it. The stand-alone ice machine was awesome. We loved not having to make an ice-run every day. For times when we did need to run to the store to get something, the location couldn’t have been better! We were very spoiled having Scallop Cove and Beach Planet right across the street! The outdoor shower was great...we loved that the water was warm! Although we were told nothing is a guarantee from visit-to-visit, the beach supply closet was nicely stocked with sand toys and boogie boards. The beds were super comfortable...even more so that some of the beds in our own home! We loved how every room had a water view of either the gulf or the bay...or both! And having a bathroom in every bedroom was a huge plus! Even when we would all come in from the beach and needed to take showers, we never ran out of hot water. There were a few minor issues, but nothing that would prevent us from recommending this house to others! There are a TON of stairs, and no elevator. If your room is on the top floor, you will be going up 36 fairly steep stairs to get there...and that doesn’t include all the stairs to get up to the house from the beach! A better WiFi router is needed for a house that accommodates 15 people. Only one or two of us could be on it at a time. If someone else tried to get on, it would kick someone off. The brown couch in the living room is incredibly uncomfortable because the back is hard and very straight. Anyone sitting on that couch had to sit sideways against the arm with a pillow propped behind them. It made it hard in the evening when we all wanted to relax because there wasn’t enough couch space. The mattress of the sofa sleeper on the third floor needs replacing, and the igniter on the gas grill didn’t work (we were able to get it going with a lighter). These were just minor things, and did not detract from our overall enjoyment of our vacation. This was our first visit to the area and everyone was so friendly! One of the guys who works at Scallop Cove got to know the 16 & 17 year olds due to their frequent trips to the store, and he saw them when we were up at the State Park one of the days and came over to visit with them for a few minutes. We rented some of our equipment through VayK due to the credit, but got some other last-minute rentals from San Flea just across and slightly up the street. Super friendly and helpful! The beach itself was great. We saw dolphins almost every day, saw someone catch a shark one morning, and we loved the beach fires at night. We also enjoyed kayaking on the bay. We will be coming back to the area next year for sure! The only thing preventing us from renting Good Vibrations again is the lack of a pool, but that is a personal preference due to one of my sons not being able to tolerate extended days of salt water. If Good Vibrations added a pool, we would be back every year for many years to come! You will not be disappointed if you rent this house!"

"My family and friends have vacationed with Sunset Reflections for 3 years and have always had a great experience. Good Vibrations was more than ever expected. Great location....the house sits directly on the beach and across the street from a local store. Good Vibrations is beautifully decorated, well maintained and very clean. The grill was in very bad condition and management had a new grill delivered the next day. This was beyond our expectations. We hope to return next year and hopefully stay here again. We love the Cape and it is a wonderful place to bring your family and dogs."

"This beautiful blue house was everything we could have asked for. The pictures don't do it justice. Kudos to the management company. There was supposed to be a high chair at the house but it was nowhere to be found. We called the management company and they delivered one to us within 20 minutes. The house is extremely well stocked, the dog run is a life saver, and the view is amazing. We've already booked again for next year. You won't be disappointed!"

"The home known as, Good Vibrations was perfect in every way. My husband and I couldn't ask for more. Upon our arrival, we found Good Vibrations to be clean and inviting. The kitchen was well equipped and furnishings were nice. The view was incredible and centrally located on the Cape. It was convenient and easily accessible! We would highly recommend to anyone!"

"We selected Good Vibrations as our rental home for our annual "Mancation". The house was beautiful and the beach was fantastic!! The property was just as advertised and we had zero issues. The home was very clean and everything worked. The only recommendation we would make is to update replace the living room furniture. The lounge is a useless piece of furniture for more than one person - it would be best if replaced with a long sofa. We were only 5 guys and the living room as furnished barely accommodated us comfortably. We only ate out a couple of times - once in Apalachiacola at The Owl Cafe (Fantastic!) and the other occasion was at the Sand Bucket (meh....).
The property management company did a great job of communicating and we would definitely recommend Sunset Reflections Vacation Rentals and will use them again."

"Everything was just perfect! From the home, the beachfront and the view couldn't have been better. The house has everything you could possibly need.
The porches are great. It would be great if the owner would screen in at least one. Those darn "Noseeums" will get you at night.
If you are looking for plenty of rooms, a fully stocked kitchen (minus pepper and salt), a comfortable house --this is your place. There are a lot of stairs inside so you need to know that in advance if you are traveling with little ones (no gates) or elderly parents. Enjoy!!!"

The weather varied from extreme thunderstorms to 82 and sunny--but no matter what it was, it was beautiful and dramatic to watch from the house's porches and windows and from the beach. "This was our 2nd stay at Good Vibrations and it is perfect for us. We have a group of 7 plus a small dog and the house couldn't be better. The small fenced area at the bottom of the deck steps is great for Willie when he needs to do his business. The beach is amazing and is almost like having your own private beach...deserted. "Good Vibrations was exactly what we were looking for when we planned our family vacation. The location right on the beach with the dog run was perfect for or family. We brought our 6 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Jackson and he quickly became well known as the dog that would swim as far as you could throw a ball into the Gulf. Our three children loved the beach and the water, which made it where we had to do little else but relax and enjoy our time away. It is one of the few vacations where we are going home and actually feel rejuvenated rather than exhausted."
