"This is my absolute favorite vacation destination. The cottage is perfect. We recently has a ladies only week here and it could not have been cozier or more beautiful. Everything we needed was right there. The beauty of Scallop Cove and Cottage #1 is second to none. This was my second Trip and we are already planning to go back next year! Well done to the owners and the community! So peaceful and relaxing!"

Best of Both Worlds

"Definitely the best of both worlds when it comes to spending time at the beach and at the bay. Not to mention, watching the sunrise and sunset right over the bay was amazing!!! The house is conveniently located to everything necessary in order to ensure ultimate relaxation. Will only stay in Scallop Cove #1 from this point on! "

"We only stay at Scallop Cove#1 every single time we visit the cape, and this was our first time back since the hurricane. This place is the perfect little getaway spot! Having the view of the beautiful bay off the deck and the beach just across the street. It was recently renovated with all new appliances, couches beds, floors, and mattresses. The king is now a memory foam mattress, we slept better then ever! We would recommend Scallop Cove#1 to anyone looking for a relaxed, newly renovated getaway. "

Beach Bliss

I have never been to Cape San Blas before this trip and will definitely be coming back!!! This beach retreat was perfect! My most favorite thing about the trip was the cottage’s location. Nestled in between the bay and the beach, we really got the best of both! From watching the sunrise over the bay while we drank our coffee to watching the sunset at the beach each day’s end, it truly was a slice of heaven. We enjoyed long walks on the beach, collecting shells, watching dolphins jump and kayaking in the bay. The cottage came equipped with everything we needed and then some. We were able to relax and stay in several nights and enjoy a home cooked meal. We also enjoyed the local cuisine and ate at some wonderful little restaurants nearby. All in all it was a very low key, relaxing trip! Loved it! I highly recommend Scallop Cove!

Awesome vacation cottage

"We were there shortly before Hurricane Michael and had the very best time.The cottage is perfect,took our 9 yr old grandson,plenty of space for everyone. Also brought our boat,plenty of room for the 3/4 ton truck and 20 ft boat. Fishing was great for those that enjoyed that sort of thing. I myself hit the beautiful beach. Family friendly,not crowded, extremely relaxing. Took our bikes, had a blast riding down to the ice cream shop. This was by far one of the best Florida vacations we have taken.....EVER!! This cottage is perfect,so those of you that choose this spot,you will NOT be disappointed. Can't say enough good things about it,it is everything you need or want for a wonderful time."

My Happy Place!!!

"We recently spent too few days at this amazing beach cottage in Cape San Blast. Just sitting in the screened in porch looking over the grass to the dock and water right in front of you as the sun sets...Truly I must say, I have found my happy place! The cottage itself was perfect. Elegant but comfortable. It has everything you could need or want. The walk to the beach is nothing. You go out, walk past a small local store and cross the road, then take a beach access right to the beautiful white sand beach. The most stunning, pristine, quiet beach you've ever seen is literally steps away. I have small children (three under 6yo), so convenience is key. I couldn't have been happier. There are some really fantastic restaurants nearby as well (with amazing seafood of course!!). We cannot wait to go back. It's the only place I ever want to go (I'm not exaggerating, it is my happy place!). We just absolutely loved it!!!"

Perfect vacation home

"This cottage is perfect! The view is breathtaking and so relaxing! We had everything we needed furnished for us which was nice. The colors are perfect for the beach and we were impressed we had a home phone, wifi and all tv stations. The screened porch was an added bonus. Be sure and star gaze on the dock, i have never seen so many stars! Easy access to the beautiful beach with no traffic and friendly people everywhere. We will be back!"
