Great Vacation, Great House

"This house worked well for our family and friends. The pool is smaller than I expected but ended up being plenty big since not everyone was in there at the same time. Lots of outdoor covered spaces. Many, many steps but the elevator was a lifesaver for luggage. It's a small walk to the beach but the road is gated and there's not a lot of car traffic. The beach was wonderful. The kitchen had enough to get us by. Take bug spray along with sunscreen and put it on as religiously as the sunscreen. And bonfires on the beach! Nice level hike/bike trail that runs right along main road. "

"Overall, very nice place to stay. Grounds were nice. Pool heat cost extra, but was worth it. Hottub jets were weak, but still enjoyable. Kids has fun playing with the board games provided. If you are going to cook, I would recommend bringing your own prep knives and a skillet - knives were not sharp, and skillets heated very unevenly - however that's no reason to stay away from this beautiful house! "

"The house was huge! Loved the elevator and all the outdoor spaces!! Lots of places to be together or apart. Pool was fun, walk to beach wasnt bad. Bay side was best experience since i was a kid. Dont miss out. Must see the harmless creatures. Only draw back was the surf was really rough. Went to st joseph preserve instead for 3 beach days."

"This is the 2nd house we have rented from Sunset Reflections and the 2nd great experience we've had. The house was clean and it's nice to have a starter set of items ready when we get there (i.e. paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc). There was a little bit of a walk to the beach but it was worth it. Quiet area and a nice pool. There were a lot of stairs (47 up to the main living area) but plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Loved having all of the decks. "

"Very nice home in a great location, just a short walk to an uncrowded beach. Loved all the balconies! The house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and get your own "private" area! Pool was very welcoming after a hot day at the beach! The management company is close by, and very responsive. I emailed them that the gas grill was running low on propane, and they had a new tank delivered literally within minutes. All in all, we were very satisfied, and would definitely stay here again!"

"This is the first year we chose not to go to Disney, but with the brutal Canadian winter we decided we needed some sun and wanted to try something different (and cheaper). The attraction here was that the house and the beach were pet friendly - important for the four-legged member of our family.

We booked All Decked Out for March break and drove down over a couple of days. We arrived later in the evening and after a long drive the house seemed like paradise! This was a wonderful vacation for all - three adults, two kids 13/11 and our dog. Every one had their own room and our teenage son enjoyed the top floor "apartment". It's very easy to "disappear" for some alone time at All Decked Out.

The house was very clean, nicely decorated, equipped with anything we needed (and more) and very quiet. There are a lot of stairs, and there is an elevator - although we didn't really use it. After a couple of days it really felt like home. We enjoyed our beverages on warm days by the pool, and beautiful starry nights in the hot-tub.

We had some trouble with the temperature of the pool, but Sunset Reflections was attentive and took care of it. In fact the few times we called them, they were right on top of anything!

The beach is beyond gorgeous - we walked for hours with the dog, shell-hunting, dolphin watching, and taking photos without seeing more than 5 people. There is also a nice running/biking trail along the road if you're so inclined.
The house is in a nice location - a quick drive to shops on the Cape, and the town of Port St. Joe for groceries (beer/wine), restaurants, etc. We would recommend the drive into Apalachicola - it is a wonderful little city.

I would highly recommend All Decked Out - and I'd go back in a second. Every hour was happy hour!

Only complaint = no-see-ums! These little biting gnats drove us crazy at times - but once we bought some bug spray it wasn't so bad.

"We had the best time at All Decked Out. Our family loved the house...the separate living areas and sitting areas where you could be "apart" yet "together" -- the pool was awesome. Love the location, between bay and gulf. We used the boardwalk to the bay more than the gulf, because, surprisingly, we had tons of fun looking at ocean life in the bay. We had a blast. Everything was very clean and in awesome condition. Highly recommend. We will be coming back, most certainly. Thank you!! :)"

"This is our second time to rent All Decked Out. WE returned for a reason and were not disappointed. With three levels of living space, every family group can retreat to their own private area when desired The house is well furnished and the beach is almost private. We have already reserved for next year."

"we had a great time at cape san blas. all decked out was a great property. we loved the floor plan. you could have a lot of people in it and each one have his own privacy. the pool was nice. the hot tub was ok. the jets were a little weak. the jetted tub in the master bath was awesome. the separate shower with tile was roomy and nice. we liked having a bath down on the level with the pool and patio. the fenced in area was great for our dog. the managemant company brought a new grill to the property. we used it alot and it was great. we loved the views off the 4th floor balcony. the decor was nice and clean looking. the kitchen was set up good but could use a few more little things (small things like certain utensils and storage containers). and it could use some non-stick cookware. but all in all it was good. the walk to the beach was not bad and the cart provided sure made it a lot easier. we had a wonderful vacation at all decked out and would definitely reccomend it to our friends and family and we would definitely return ourselves. "We really got our money's worth this year with the nice warm January weather. Near record highs and a great place to stay made this vacation one of the best. The beach here is so nice for walking our dogs! We'll be back next year for sure."
