If there is one thing that unites golfers, it's the fact that every vacation becomes a great opportunity to play a few rounds.  Visitors to Cape San Blas are lucky to have a few great courses to choose from.  Carved into a wild landscape including wetlands, plenty of mature trees, and even the occasional alligator, golf courses in the St. James Bay and St. Joseph's Bay area are the perfect place for golfers to gain an appreciation of Florida's Forgotten Coast.

St. Joseph’s Bay Country Club

This 18-hole championship course is perfect for the intermediate player.  Mature trees, lush fairways, sloping greens and strategically placed hazards accent this traditional course layout and add to its unique feel and character.  Water comes into play on fourteen holes.  You’ll see lots of wildlife and maybe even an alligator or two. Full bar and snack bar.

St. James Bay Golf Course

Just a scenic hours drive from the Cape is the St. James Bay Course. Robert Walker, the highly acclaimed golf course designer, collaborated with Audubon International to create this distinctive and challenging course designed to be in complete harmony with nature.  The wetlands and water hazards featured on every hole will appeal to the most skillful golfers and those just learning.  All golf carts are equipped with GPS systems. 

There is also a practice range and two putting greens.

"This home is GORGEOUS. I'm so impressed at the sheer size of it. There are a TON of steps, so be aware of that, but otherwise this house is immaculate, beautifully decorated and CLEAN. Everything looks brand new. The baseboards are even spotless (that's a big deal). The rooms are huge and each of them have their own huge bathroom. There are 2 covered areas to park under the house and an elevator if you can't climb the tons of stairs. The boardwalk to the beach is in great shape and the view from the decks are amazing. I can't say enough about how beautiful and clean this house is. We had one issue when we arrived with the lock on the sliding door and the manager's husband was there within 15 min to fix it. I am impressed, sooo impressed! :-)"- Lisa
