Our team of highly qualified, professional property managers have decades of experience in vacation management and strive every day to take care of our guests.  

Meet the Team

Matt Elliott, our General Manager, comes to us from South Carolina, where since 2015 he has been the General Manger of our Sea Islands retreat. Matt has an impressive background in construction and property maintenance, and has been working in the vacation rental industry since 2012. He thus brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our business in Cape San Blas. He has been married to his lovely wife Dawn for 16 years, and has two children, aged 13 and 10 months. Since relocating to Cape San Blas, Matt has come to love the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast, and calls St. Joseph Bay his, “new happy place.” He particularly enjoys kayaking on the bay with his son.

Dawn Elliott, our Housekeeping Manager, began her career in the vacation rental industry in 2013, as a Housekeeping Supervisor. Dawn has earned a reputation for having high housekeeping standards and has consistently received outstanding marks from her guests. Dawn grew up in South Carolina and began her career working in an Italian restaurant owned by her foster parents.  It is here that she honed her interpersonal skills and developed an affinity for working with people, which continues to this day. Dawn is the proud wife of Matt Elliott and mother of two, who has fallen in love with Cape San Blas since relocating.  She is especially enamored of the spectacular Gulf-coast sunsets on the beach.

Tessi Ard, our Retreat Manager, is a Florida Native and has extensive knowledge of the Cape. She ensures that all of the accounting and office administrative duties are complete. Tessi loves chocolate and relaxing on the beach with her children and family.  She is blessed with two wonderful boys, James Watson and Thomas.

BJ Tomlin, our Housekeeping Manager, was born and raised in Apalachicola. He’s been in the property care business for over 10 years and knows everybody and everything about this area! A true Renaissance man, one day BJ will be cooking a gourmet meal and the next he is repairing an air conditioner. He has three adorable pooches; Blue, Winter and Pepper.
